Nine prints arranged as a single wall — an Aleppo tree in sepia ink, a woman absorbed in her book in a shaded garden, sardines on a pewter plate, a sailing ship sketched at sea, a bouquet of flowers against warm fabric, a garden urn laden with branches, a village road in late afternoon light, a villa door drawn with an architect's patience, and a chinoiserie panel in the manner of the European decorative tradition. Together they do what a single print cannot: suggest a home that has been collecting art over generations, one wall built slowly from things that carry weight. Designed for a dining room, a wide hallway, or a sitting room that wants to feel as if it has always been there.
The grand households of Spain's Golden Age were distinguished not by a single masterwork but by the accumulation of subjects across every category of the painted world. Portrait, landscape, still life, maritime subject, decorative textile — all of them hung together on the same wall. This was the curatorial philosophy codified by the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando, founded in Madrid in 1744, which formalized the hierarchy of subjects in Spanish painting while also legitimizing their combination in the domestic interior. The great collectors of Seville, Cádiz, and Barcelona assembled walls that read as a complete world: the natural, the human, the maritime, the ornamental.
The chinoiserie tradition — European decorative work in the Asian-influenced style that swept the courts and noble households of 18th-century Spain — sits naturally alongside the botanical, maritime, and figurative subjects in this set. It was not an anomaly in the Spanish interior; it was a sign of refinement. The Aleppo tree, the garden urn, the ship at sea, the woman at her reading — these subjects were the vocabulary of the educated collector. What unified them was not a single subject but a shared palette and sensibility: the warmth of Spanish ochre, raw sienna, and deep umber; the preference for objects rendered with weight and shadow; the pleasure of a wall that rewards looking.
Each of the nine prints is produced in archival quality on museum-grade 200gsm fine art stock, carrying the warm tones and tonal depth of the original subjects. Hanging together, they reward the eye that moves along the wall — each print distinct, all of them clearly in conversation. A warm walnut or aged gold frame applied consistently across all nine unifies the set without forcing uniformity. Part of the Atrecho Art Collection; each print is also available individually.
- Museum-Grade Archival Paper — 200gsm fine art stock with a rich matte finish across all nine prints. Colors are deep and accurate; paper is acid-free for lasting display.
- Nine Sizes Per Print — Vertical prints from 5×7" to 28×40"; horizontal prints from 7×5" to 40×28". Mix sizes or hang all nine at the same scale.

FAQ
What are the nine prints included in this set?
The set includes: Aleppo Tree (botanical sketch), Urn (garden still life), Sardines (pewter plate still life), In a Garden (figurative — woman reading), Village (countryside landscape), Flowers (floral bouquet), Ship Sketch (nautical), Villa Door (architectural sketch), and Chinoiserie (decorative panel). Five prints are vertical format; four are horizontal.
What sizes are available?
Each print is available in 9 sizes. Vertical prints range from 5×7" to 28×40"; horizontal prints range from 7×5" to 40×28". You can hang all nine at a matching size or mix sizes for a more organic gallery wall arrangement.
What paper and ink are used?
Every print in the set is produced on 200gsm museum-grade archival paper with fade-resistant inks. The warm palette — ochres, siennas, botanical greens, and muted maritime tones — is rendered with full tonal depth on archival stock.
Does it come framed?
The set ships unframed. For a cohesive wall, we recommend a single frame style across all nine — aged gold or dark walnut both complement the warm Old World palette. A matte black frame works well in more contemporary spaces.
Is this suitable for a Tuscan aesthetic or old world home decor?
This set is built for that aesthetic. The warm palette, the mix of botanical, maritime, still life, and decorative subjects, and the Old Master treatment of light and shadow speak directly to the Tuscan and Old World sensibility. It looks at home in a Mediterranean villa, a Spanish hacienda, or an apartment that wants to feel like it has a history.
How does shipping work for a nine-print set?
The full set ships together in flat-pack protective packaging. Printing takes 5–7 business days; US delivery adds another 5–7 business days. If any print arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours with a photo and we will replace it at no charge.

OUR STORY
Atrecho Art began with an obsession: the art that lines the walls of old European estates — the devotional portraits found in the side chapels of Seville's cathedral, the botanical studies tucked into private library rooms, the maritime prints that reminded a landlocked city of the sea. We are a family-owned small business bringing that spirit home, one print at a time. Thank you for supporting independent art.
